Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains what information VeyraChat collects and how it's used. VeyraChat is designed to let you chat without revealing your identity to the person you're talking to.
What we collect
- An age-confirmation flag, stored locally in your browser (not on our servers).
- Chat messages are relayed in real time and are not stored after your session ends.
- If you create an account: your email address, display name, and premium status.
Reports and moderation
When you submit a report, we capture and log on our servers for internal review:
- The category you selected (e.g. harassment, spam) and any optional details you added.
- A timestamp and the anonymous connection identifiers of both people in that chat.
We do not currently capture or store the content of chat messages alongside a report — reports are reviewed using the category and context you provide, not a saved transcript. Submitting a report immediately ends the chat and prevents that person from being matched with you again during your session. Report records are not shared with the person you reported. If we begin retaining limited message context with reports as our moderation tooling matures, we'll update this policy first.
What we don't do
- We do not show your email, real name, or account details to chat partners.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Guest usage
You can use VeyraChat without creating an account. In guest mode, we don't store a persistent profile about you beyond what's needed to operate the current chat session.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the contact page.
